september souls

and she's falling asleep on the pullout couch next to me
and i'll be counting sheep 'til the sun comes out from under the trees.
i must have left open my head when you stepped out of my dreams last night and into my life.

i've got some problems but we've all got a few
and i tried sleeping on either side but it doesn't stop me from dreaming of you.
and as for me i'm in between the summer air and autumn leaves.
